Ohio Valley Conference Announces 2024-25 Basketball Schedules

The 2024-25 Ohio Valley Conference basketball schedules were released today as the University of Tennessee at Martin women’s and men’s squads will each play 20 league contests in a round-robin format.           

All 11 teams will play a home-and-home series against each other in 2024-25 as the OVC slate runs from Dec. 17 through March 1. For the eighth consecutive season, the OVC Championship tournament will be held at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. as this year’s event will take place on March 5-8. All OVC games and non-conference home contests can be seen on ESPN+ while additional linear exposures of ESPNU and ESPN2 will be announced at a later date.           

Back-to-back road games start off the Skyhawks’ OVC schedule as UT Martin travels to Morehead State on Dec. 19 and Southern Indiana on Dec. 21. Following the holiday break, the Skyhawks will host Little Rock (Jan. 2) and Southeast Missouri (Jan. 4) at the Kathleen and Tom Elam Center.           

UT Martin heads to Western Illinois and Lindenwood on Jan. 9 and Jan. 11, respectively, before returning home to take on Eastern Illinois (Jan. 16) and SIUE (Jan. 18). The first of two Tuesday matchups against Tennessee State will occur in Nashville on Jan. 21 before the Skyhawks return home to play Tennessee Tech on Jan. 25.       

Next up on the schedule are road games at Southeast Missouri (Jan. 30) and Little Rock (Feb. 1) before home outings against Lindenwood on Feb. 6 and Western Illinois on Feb. 8. A road trip to SIUE and Eastern Illinois follow on Feb. 13 and Feb. 15, respectively.           

Three of UT Martin’s final four regular season games will be played in front of its home fans as the Skyhawks host Tennessee State on Feb. 18. Two days later, UT Martin makes the cross-state trek to Tennessee Tech before ending the regular season against Southern Indiana (Feb. 27) and Morehead State (March 1) at the Elam Center.         

Nonconference schedules for both the Skyhawk women’s and men’s basketball programs are currently being finalized and will be released in the fall.
