ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Weakley County, TN (Owner)

Separate sealed bids for  Weakley County Chamber of Commerce Connected

Community Center  located at 114 W. Maple St., Dresden, TN 38225 will be

received by Weakley County, TN at the Weakley Co. Chamber Office until 2:00

o'clock P.M., C.S.T. January 8, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and

read aloud.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held December 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at

the project location.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans,

Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond,

and other contract documents may be examined at the following:

-TLM Associates, Inc., 117 East Lafayette St., Jackson, TN 38301; 731-988-9840

-West TN Plans Room, 439 Airways Blvd., Jackson, TN 38301

Copies may be obtained at the office of  TLM Associates, Inc., located at

117 East Lafayette Street, Jackson, TN 38351, upon payment of $300 for

each set. Any non-bidder or unsuccessful bidder, upon returning each set

promptly and in good condition, will be refunded $300.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and

subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the

Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of

Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to

conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be

paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and

E.O. 11246.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the

opening thereof.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SURFACE MINE

Gleason Clay Company of PO Box 111, Gleason, TN, 38229, Phone (731) 648-5596, has made application to the State of Tennessee, Division of Water Pollution Control, for renewal of Mine #11 to mine ball clay in Weakley County.  The proposed permit of 148+/- acres is located in the Pillowville and Trezevant West, TN USGS Quadrangles.  It is drained by an unnamed tributary of Bear Creek.  Any interested parties may contact the Mining Section, 3711 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37921.  Phone (865) 594-6035, within (30) days of this publication.

NOTICE TO CREDITOR

Estate of VICKI LYNN HUDGINS 26,310

Notice is hereby given that on the 3rd day of December, 2025, LETTERS
TESTAMENTARY in respect of the estate of VICKI LYNN HUDGINS, who died
October 9, 2025 were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court for Weakley
County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and nonresident, having claims matured
or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the clerk of the
above-named court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2)
otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

(1) (a.) Four months from the date of the first publication of this notice if the creditor
   received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty days before the date
   that is four months from the date of the first publication; or

  (b.) Sixty days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to
   creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty days prior to
   the date that is four months from the date of first publication as described in
   (1)(a); or

(2) Twelve months from the decedent’s date of death.
