West Tennessee Chapter of the American Advertising Federation Hosts May Lunch Program Featuring Restauranteur Alan Laderman

Posted

The American Advertising Federation of West Tennessee, a chapter of the American Advertising Federation, has announced its May 2025 program will feature creative entrepreneur and community builder Alan Laderman.

The lunch program will be held at Laderman’s newest restaurant, Woodfire Pizza Kitchen in Martin, Tennessee, on Tuesday, May 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program, “Creativity in Hospitality,” is sponsored by Northwest Tennessee Tourism. It is free for members of both organizations and students and $10 for non-members. Lunch will be Dutch treat. Register at AAFWestTennessee.com.

Laderman is the restaurateur behind some of Northwest Tennessee’s most unique dining experiences including Sammies in Union City and Martin and The Grind Mac & Cheese Burger Bar and Woodfire Pizza Kitchen in Martin.

With Woodfire Pizza Kitchen, Laderman led the complete transformation of a historic building into a popular restaurant blending Southern hospitality with Italian soul and ‘80s and ‘90s nostalgia.

“Alan has created a space that’s more than a restaurant—it’s an experience. With over 15 years of hands-on business building, he brings a rare mix of creativity, resilience and relentless drive to everything he does,” said Amy Finch, current president of AAF West Tennessee. “I’m looking forward to hearing how Alan applies marketing, advertising and promotions into his business models.”

Laderman was recently honored with a Northwest Tennessee Cornerstone Award from Northwest Tennessee Tourism in the individuals in dining category.
