The Ohio Valley Conference rolled out its preseason women's soccer players to watch and University of Tennessee at Martin senior midfielder Izzy Patterson was named to the elite list.

Patterson is a two-time All-OVC first teamer while also earning a spot on the second team in 2021. Last season, she scored a career-high three goals, ranking seventh in the OVC in shots (35). She also placed fifth in conference play in shots (25) and tied for eighth in shots on goal (9).

The St. Louis, Mo. native is one of only nine players in program history to be named to the All-OVC first team twice and has played over 4,000 minutes in her career while accumulating 16 points and 104 shots in three years as a starter.

Patterson is one of 16 returners for second-year Skyhawk head coach Mike Varga, who also added 10 newcomers for the 2024 season.

UT Martin will wrap up exhibition play tomorrow afternoon at Arkansas State as it gears up for the season opener at North Alabama on Aug. 15.
